Kottamba Kanda is a fully staffed private villa near Hiriketiya, designed to let you settle in quickly and enjoy your time together. From a generous breakfast to daily room care and help with the practical details, our team is there when you need them, without making the stay feel formal.
The villa team is led by Roshan, our chef and villa manager, who brings more than 16 years' experience in south coast villas. He is supported by a dedicated team of stewards, housekeepers, and pool and garden staff.
Together they look after the house, prepare meals and help keep each day running smoothly, leaving you free to relax into the rhythm of the villa.
Breakfast is included with every stay and is served fresh at the villa each morning. Choose from our daily set-menu options, or simply let Roshan guide you towards the best of what is in season. Do make time for his hoppers with onion jam, a Kottamba Kanda favourite.
Additional dining packages are available for guests who would like more meals arranged at the villa. Menus are planned day by day, with meal choices confirmed the day before so that Roshan and the team can prepare everything properly.
There is always someone on hand to make coffee and tea, and to mix cocktails. For now, guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol.
Bedrooms and shared spaces are maintained daily, so the villa stays calm, comfortable and ready to enjoy throughout your stay.
Each bedroom has a safe, a hairdryer, hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Pool towels and beach towels are provided. Laundry can be arranged through the villa team.
The villa has Starlink wifi throughout, books and games for quieter moments, and pool floats for long afternoons in the water.
A security guard is on site around the clock, providing the security and peace of mind expected of a private villa in Sri Lanka.

Yes. We arrange transfers from Colombo airport, about three and a quarter hours away by car, along with drivers for day trips. Transport is charged in addition to the villa rate.
Yes. For now guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, and the team is on hand to mix cocktails and serve drinks at the bar.
